Hi, I am running the 1.1 beta version of Bimserver and I am experimenting with the advanced queries on the web interface. I have tried running the default example query and when I compile and run I get no output when I expected to get the "Running default example".
I am researching this topic because I would like to send advanced query code through the soap interface, compile and get results to help with some model processing.
Any help on why I am having this problem or news on what has and has not been implemented at present would be really helpful

Hi bimtools,
The default example searches for specific objecttypes and properties in the IFC data. When these properties are not in the IFC data, or on a different location than where the example searches, there will (of course) be no output.
Try to run the example queries on the default example IFC files from http://download.bimserver.org/IFC-exa...
When that doesn't work, please let us know and we will fix it.
By the way: running advance queries through the ServiceInterface (PB, REST, SOAP) is very high on our wishlist. If you have some experience, ideas, wild thought about is, please enlighten us!Comment -

You can try version 1645 or 1.1.0-2011-12-16 via protocol buffer. At least the "Running default example" returns the output as expected.
